Here’s Why You Need to Stop Sleeping on Rising Artist Lette Weaver
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Lette Weaver is a rising rapper, singer, and songwriter. Lette Weaver’s journey in the music industry started on a very positive note, although an unintended one. She was preparing some rhymes for a talent show at her school, Grove Park Elementary School, when it came to her notice as well as everyone else’s that Lette had some actual skills. The tremendous amount of appreciation that she received opened Lette’s eyes to viewing music as an actual occupation in the future. Lette Weaver’s brother had also been imperative to turning her passion into a profession. The young man had always had an interest in music and would even record a few of his own beats. However, he came to an untimely demise in 2005. Since then, Lette has been doubly motivated to carry on making music to honor the talent and appreciation her brother had for it.
However, not all dreams can be turned into reality in the blink of an eye. When asked about what she would have become if not an artist, Lette Weaver says that she also had a fascination with the IT industry and was quite a nerd in her gang of friends. Lette Weaver had to make a conscious decision to leave those dreams behind so that she could put her mind and soul into making music. At 30, she considers her best music to be those which feature her own experiences and are borne out of the emotions she has gone through herself.
Lette Weaver stands true to her ambitions as an artist in the fact that she has never made profitability or fame her goal. Rather it is all about making music only for music’s sake and to carry on speaking for the talented voice that resides inside her. Lette Weaver will soon be releasing her upcoming EP but till then, you can catch her on September 25th, performing at Bar Rosa with Young Sir Movement. Lette Weaver will also be in Georgia for a show on 23rd October.
