“It is hard to break into the global music scene. The space is highly crowded, and you have to spend a considerable amount of time on brand promotion and money on recording if you want something great. For instance, conventional audio mastering includes a studio with acoustics to solve sound balance problems and spectral range, which for an up-and-coming artist may seem impossible to achieve,” says Wong.
He believes that with AI, aspiring artists will get the chance to create dope music without spending much. With AI, you can work with mastering platforms and tools to review musical content. You can also learn to play instruments guided solely by AI voices.
Wong is using AI to create his music, enabling him to improve his style. For example, in his songs, some of the music is synthesized by AI. As Wong continues to grow his brand, he says he aims to further integrate AI into his music and create great music as he helps others in the industry learn how they can leverage artificial intelligence.
“Have you ever tried watching a song with your eyes? Do you know the touch of music or how music smells? All these may seem impossible at the moment but can be achieved through AI and IT, and this is my goal. My dream is to create the ultimate feast where music meets AI and uses new technologies to advance art and grow the industry,” says Wong Kwan Chi.
