T’challa King Announces His New EP “Power” is on the Way

The central idea, or story behind the inspiration of T’Challa King’s new EP “Power” is based on an individual who goes out on tour selling out stadiums and arenas but is a much different person away from the spotlight. This individual has the whole world at his shoulders and he builds a story throughout the EP that this individual has made it to a point where they can have whatever they want. This in turn leads to many temptations, including seductions of plenty, suspense, the chase, breakups, sex, and greed.

T’Challa’s interpretation of power is far different from the one portrayed in his EP. To him, power is control, control of self, and having the confidence to make a decision in a specific moment. He believes someone steps into their power by setting a goal in their life, no matter the size of the goal it is important for that person to take action and have self-control. He shared that “Power” took countless hours for to complete, he has been working on this specific project ever since the release of his first album which dropped two years ago. He has been patiently waiting for the right time to drop new music.

The album includes nine songs which is in part a tribute to Nas’ “Illmatic” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Both albums included nine songs and both albums had a great impact on him. The intended audience for T’Challa’s newest album is women, T’Challa usually caters to the dance community, however, he is trying something new and this is the first time he is singing to women. This album features a completely different sound from his past work, the album includes trap and reggae elements which he did not include on his previous album. This album sees T’Challa step out of his normal hard-hitting EDM tones and instead brings a refreshing sound to his music catalog and for his fans to enjoy. Though he eventually plans on going on tour it is crucial that everyone listens to T’Challa’s new EP. It is clear that through his hard work and dedication that T’Challa’s music will soon be heard all around the world.
