Toronto Underground Rapper Chiinabets Makes Mainstream Debut
Chiinabets, one of Toronto’s hottest new underground rappers has decided to bring his craft to the mainstream with a double single release as a precursor to his upcoming EP expected later in September. While he’s been honing his skills on the underground circuit in his market, his fanbase has been growing and calling for him to step center stage as a representative for one of the hottest Hip Hop markets in North America.
To kick off the double debut, he teams up with another Hip Hop stalwart Young Smoke for the smooth groove single “Trees” which sees the pair tag team on a slick ode to their ride-or-die companions.
Next is the ultra smooth “My Slime” on which Chiinabets rocks solo and spits about party life in a solidly melodic offering that helps whet the appetite for the EP.
Overall, Chiinabets’ debut is a righteous introduction to a new voice from the region that has spawned the careers of a multitude of stand-out artists. We’re certainly looking forward to his upcoming EP!
