Meet Corey C. The Platinum Producer Who is Revamping the Future of Long Beach Production

The Long Beach music scene has been crafting Hip Hop classics for decades. Contributions from lyrically inclined legends such as Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Crooked I, Warren G, Dazz Dillinger, and shifting into most recent years names like Vince Staples, Frank Ocean, and Joey Fatts, and Giveon has breathed life into the city.

The city whose sound originated as Gangster Rap through collectives like 213 and Tha Dogg Pound has quickly become a melting pot of spitfire rap and melodically masterful aptitude.

Behind the cutthroat bars and viral love-crazed hooks stand strategically placed producers who have leveled up the L.B.’s prominence through the years.

Born and raised in Long Beach, Corey Cail is a certified Platinum Producer whose name is worthy of consideration.

The 26-year-old producer’s career credits are widely-spread throughout the Hip Hop, R&B, and entertainment vicinities. He has graced his high energy and incredibly infectious melodies alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg, Bryson Tiller, Wale, VH1, BET, and EA Sports.

As of recently, his production work on Empire signees – Los Angeles hip-hop group Baby Stone Gorillas’ debut project “BABYST5XNE GORILLAS” has proved Corey to be an exuberant force amongst the city’s most prevalent producers.

Their first collaborative track “Flame Strangs” has now amassed over 1 million streams and nearing 700,000 views on the Youtube platform alone.

Cail went on to produce several other tracks for the group including “Body For Body”, “Baby Girl”, “Pause!”, “Back Up”, “Pop A Perk”, and  “You Got A Man Fa Dat” featuring Joe Moses.

His R&B contributions such as the “Toxic” and “Entanglement” for Bakersfield rising artist Joe Maynor have showcased his versatility across the Industry.

As he wraps up 2022 with whispers of possible new music beyond the recent release of KingMostWanted’s “Bidness”, Corey is set to dominate the next quarter as his career continues in overdrive.
