Top Artists to Pay Attention to in 2022

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, most rising artists did not get many opportunities over the past two years. They didn’t have the chance to tour the world, interact one-on-one with their fans, and win over crowds at festivals. The few who rose to fame during the pandemic were creative with how they released music and interacted with their audience. They also had the time to focus on their music and plan their next moves.

2022 offered greater opportunities for rising artists as most Covid19 regulations were eased or removed, opening up the world to everyone. The following new and rising artists made an impact during 2022:

Simone Elisa

Simone is an alternative pop artist with excellent production skills and a powerful voice that profoundly speaks to her fans. Through her captivating lyrics, Simone brings a new sound to pop. Her mind-blowing debut album, All In My Head, charted in the top 50 on the US national radio’s Hot AC 100 charts and took her music to a new level. Simone has been working on a few singles to release in the fall. She also plans to go on tour early next year.

VAENSVAENS is a self-taught musician and producer who creates songs from the skills he acquired over time and expresses his emotions and past experiences through music. VAENS shared, “I penned my debut EP, VAENS, with my self-taught skills to channel my sensations and frustrations from a prior traumatic breakup into tracks that expressed a story of pleasure and romantic commitment to sudden loss and delicate requital.”

Unlike most artists from Seattle, Washington, VAENS creates more upbeat, warm, dark, and funky music. He transforms his community’s energy into constructive dynamic energy that unites people and elevates their spirit. The artist picked VAENS as his stage name because of its uniqueness. He dislikes following trends and creates music that boldly represents his personality. VAENS looks forward to releasing his debut music video before the end of the year.

IVORR

IVORR is an upcoming singer, rapper, and producer from Birmingham, UK, living in London. He is passionate about creepy, cryptic sounds and a messy bass. He released his debut album earlier this year and is currently working on a new album.

Bios Bits

Bios music is a one-person project as he solely composes, tracks, mixes, and masters his music. He also believes that his label is the last authentic and pure human-created music. The artist doubles as the Acid metal genre’s founder and blends contemporary metal sound and old-school analog acid house sounds (cyberpunk). “It’s progressive, it’s metal, it’s acid, it’s heavy and aggressive! Made in Cimislia, Moldova, Republic of,” Bios asserts.

Lewis L Jefferson

Lewis is a songwriter, musician, producer, and founder of the Blu Music Entertainment group. He releases his music under his production company and is working on a full-length project, Project L My World, set to release on all significant platforms soon.

Wes Haven

The grime of the West Coast during the 80s and 90s resonates through the grit of Wes Haven’s voice with witty lyrics, and precisely placed vocals and harmonies over many styles of beats. After losing many friends to the streets and serving time on felony drug trafficking charges, he paints the real life picture many can only talk about. Wes Haven transcends styles combining East and West coast hip hop, rap, trap and rock influences, with too much flavor to be put in just one box. Steadily releasing music from his hometown of San Diego, California, Wes Haven is set to tour the western US as a headliner the fall and spring of 2022 – 2023. Stay tuned for more to come from this talented artist!

Keep an eye on the above rising talents, as they have much in store for you.
