Meet Sofia Taquet, the Young Creator Taking Over the Content Creation Space
In the modern social media world, content creation has emerged as a top career path for millions across the world. You can easily record audio, videos, or GIFs and share them with the rest of the world from the comfort of your living room. However, like any other career, you need to work hard and continuously innovate to stand out from what is already a crowded niche.
Sofia Taquet started her influencer journey in 2020, working with Profession Management. Her dedication and hard work saw her grow from 0 to 230K followers over a short time, giving her the energy and hunger to continue striving for more.
Today, she considers herself a young aspiring entrepreneur with a profound passion for the film and music industry. She is also a lifestyle and travel influencer who plans on capturing the world and promoting a healthy and happy lifestyle. A multi-talented individual, Taquet is a gifted singer with a dream to hopefully transition into a music career. With her love for drama and film, she would equally love to build a career in television or the film industry.
An innately gifted creative, Taquet stands out because of her unique and thrilling content. She has also established a brand as one of the few content creators who engage with her audience. “I frequently ask questions and try my hardest to reply and engage,” she adds.
Taquet’s biggest challenge was overcoming the unjustified biases and hate that dominate the digital space. “I have faced hateful comments and people I know bullying me about my passion. I have found that these comments have made me a more confident individual who wants to embrace my differences and passions even more,” she explains.
But despite the hate, Taquet has built a thick skin, helping ignore her doubters and naysayers. Though it was difficult at the time, Taquet believes that she has grown as a person, learning and understanding that their opinions do not affect who she is and what she believes in or aspires to achieve.
Success is a journey, and Taquet wants others to learn from her story. She wants to tell people about her experiences so that others can take away something from what she has picked up along the way. “A lesson that I would love others to learn from me is to genuinely do what you love, even if those around you think otherwise. Follow your passions,” she adds.
Taquet advises other young content creators to build on their authenticity and originality. “You will likely face numerous challenges and hardships, but your resilience and hard work will keep you going. More importantly, never give up on your dreams,” she says.
Having grown up with a love and passion for playing the guitar and piano, Taquet aspires to transition into the music scene and hopefully produce her own songs. She wants to release great music and record and release an album. With her love for acting, she would love for that to develop into a career path as well. Her dream is to tour the world visiting places like Antarctica and Greenland, where many people don’t get to travel, and be able to let her followers live the experiences through her music and content. Being an entrepreneur is also something Taquet thinks about, and her dream is to start a clothing brand to diversify her income streams.
