Michael Hamilton unveils “In Spite Of Everything” and announces forthcoming album

Michael Hamilton, a composer just as capable of tugging on your heartstrings, has released his first single, “In Spite Of Everything,” from the upcoming album A Language Forever.

Michael briefly shared his latest offering, “In Spite Of Everything,” from an upcoming album. He shared, “In Spite of Everything is one of the sonically darker moments on the record, but it’s actually quite a playful, kind of indulgent track for me.”

The track “In Spite Of Everything” summarize what you should expect from Michael anticipated album A Language Forever, a collection of electronic, beats-driven tracks inspired by UK Bass and Electronica producers such as Burial, Jamie XX, Asa, and fellow Monotreme labelmate Sorrow. These compositions marry fractured breakbeat samples with emotive, cinematic chord progressions; crunchy drum machine loops with intimate piano melodies. As with each release, the aim was to break new ground while borrowing from and building upon his previous work.
