MTV PUSH Names Chappell Roan as March’s Global Push Artist

Reflecting on her writing process, Roan shares, “Melodies have always come really easy to me, but it’s great help if I have a concept that I am writing about. Finding great concepts is the hardest part for me. I am always on alert. I always have my notes app ready. It is just not easy, and it doesn’t come easily. You make a lot more bad art than you do good art. Whatever that means.”

Roan reveals her unconventional approach to success, stating, “The way that I started to get really successful is being annoying. I know that sounds weird, but I was just annoying all the time. But I think I am just like, okay I am ready for this, I can take it on. And enjoy it! If I don’t feel ready for something, then I can’t enjoy it. I am just stressed out the whole time. So, I am just enjoying this moment.”
