From the outside looking in, who is Top Dogg Buggs B?
Top Dog Buggs B is a revolutionary writer for the people. He is someone who isn’t scared to say whatever he wants to say.
What brought you to the entertainment industry, music specifically?
My life, writing music was a way for my express how i felt when nobody would listen or understand. My note books, the microphone never judged me or ignored me.
Tell us about your current project and your ApolloNightLA “Artist of the Week” winning single.
My brothers and I (Team Hustle) are working on project right now are working T.O.T.S (Tales Of The SouthSide). Its gonna be a mixtape documentary for our city and the people of our communities we grew up in.
My single Shore Dr Pt 2 came off of another project, that I’m personally working on. Its called The B.U.G.G.S.B EP that will be dropping soon. The song is just about my perception on the type of women that I like and the woman that I’m looking for. Also a way of showing respect to the types women that I mention in the song. Instead of degrading them we need to uplift them.
For new listeners, what song of yours would you pick as an introduction to you?
Thats kind of a hard question, because every song that I do you’re gonna learn something new about me. But it would be either “The World And A Hypocrite” or IPYLM(I Pray You Love Me)” They detail a lot of who I am and my outlook on life.
Last but not least, HYPE wants to know…What’s your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?!” moment…
Thats another hard one, because where I’m from we have those all the time. It would have to be seeing my homie fight a whole damn gang by his self and only come out with scratch on his nose. We were in high school and a situation that had happened earlier that day, went on until we got outside. They fought for whole 20 min until security finally came; after it was already over.
