0Empara Mí – The Come Down
Empara’s new release ‘The Come down’ (written by Empara, produced by Kanye West’s producer/mixer Andrew Dawson), exhibits her first real stamp of musical intention as an artist. Despite an obvious step up in the magnitude of the production since wanderlust and obvious leans towards an amity with hiphop, its array of influences make it almost genre less and therefore very divergent. To Compliment a powerful production is an equally powerful cautionary message behind today’s temptations to project fake personas for the sake of appearances, hiding behind a mask of falsities,
‘can you feel my heart, beating under your skin, come get more out, i’ll let you in’
‘Don’t let the world fight for ya,
don’t let their reign exploit ya,
don’t think that they’ll adore ya,
on the comedown’
Even more exciting is the upcoming visual for the track which serves us with a very literal interpretation of the song’s message in the most unexpected delivery.
