New Release from Goldroom “Lying To You” On Downtown / Interscope

Singer, songwriter, producer, and electronic pop artist GOLDROOM (AKA Josh Legg) will release his debut album WEST OF THE WEST on September 23 via Downtown / Interscope Records. Those who pre-order the album digitally will receive an instant download of the single “Lying To You” and the album track “Silhouette.”

“I’ve always been drawn to music that can bring you back to the sort of purity of emotions that come with young love,” says Goldroom. “We get older and things get more complicated, but I wanted ‘Lying To You’ to bring back all of those intense feelings, when an encounter could feel like life or death.”

Earlier this month, GOLDROOM announced his 2016 co-headline tour with Autograf which kicks off September 30 in Nashville at The Basement East. See below for a complete list of tour dates and tickets available HERE.

The Boston-bred Legg began making music under the name GOLDROOM in 2011. He has released several EPs (Angeles, Embrace, and It’s Like You Never Went Away) and singles (“Fifteen,” “Sweetness Alive,” “Only You Can Show Me,” “Embrace,” and “Till Sunrise”), plus remixes for such artists as Niki and the Dove, MS MR, Atlas Genius, Charli XCX, The Knocks, MØ, Chvrches, and Janet Jackson. Goldroom’s WEST OF THE WEST comes on the heels of his sold out spring 2016 West coast headline tour and his debut performance at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

The track-listing for WEST OF THE WEST is as follows:

Silhouette
Back To You

Lying To You
