Forbes (@Forbes) is right, there is no possible way the various creators of Hip-Hop music and culture could have foreseen the global growth of the genre and lifestyle. There are arguable moments in the history of the culture as to who created what and which borough began what but one thing the world agrees on is the Hip-Hop began in the Bronx. Forbes took the time to pull together what I consider one of the best educational pieces on the subject, in quite some time. It’s as legitimate as they come in the treatment of the culture and benefits heavily from the wisdom of REAL Hip-Hop legends as well as modern-day superstars.
