Pop Star LAYKE Talks Collab With Snoop Dogg for Charity
With the release of the reimagined hit single “Happier,” LAYKE and Snoop Dogg have joined forces to release a newly inspired cover of the song. Coming together to kick off the new year by helping special needs children become happier, the duo has blended together the worlds of feel-good pop and R&B with a bombastic chorus that was produced by illustrious music veteran producer and songwriter Adrian Gurvitz.
I connected with LAYKE to discuss working with Snoop Dogg on this song, the inspiration behind the collaboration, as well as the charity aspect, with all proceeds benefiting children in need through the charities Childhelp, and Snoop Dogg’s “The Snoop Special Stars” event…Tune In!
Here’s the official line on the collab!
Showcasing her uncompromising originality with versatility and empowerment oozing from each song she releases, LAYKE brought these same ideas during the process of collaborating with Snoop Dogg for this upcoming release to create what will soon be referred to as the collaboration of the year.
The pair just dropped the official video for the project!
