Who Is: Memphis native Archangel

Wise beyond his years is more than likely a way that best describes Tarrance Brown, the Memphis native and rising entertainer.  A less than stable childhood brought upon unrest during his formative years which was plagued by inconsistent living quarters, struggles in school and the kind of anger a young man growing up without a father would have to deal with.   His escape – sports, and eventually the armed forces where he would be groomed with an immeasurable form of discipline and forward thinking.   A marine – which says a lot about the character of a man; one who actualized his potential in life and moreover in music.  “Music after 15 has been my escape from most pains in my life,” he explains ” what started in the living room of my grandmother’s living room recording with my childhood friend on a 4-track turned into the magic that I have been blessed to experience for all these years.”

He became Archangel the creator. By 15 years old he was prepared to shoot his greatest shot at a career in music. Motivated by his friend Jason Riddle AKA Chino who was on it daily about his talent and potential.  Studying the greats like Rakim, T Rock , No Limit Records as well as hometown heroes Three 6 Mafia and Indo G Archangel got in tuned with the art of delivery in Hip Hop.   From class to the studio the journey had begun.
