KinKai, Akemi Fox and Lenzman team up to raise money for Black Minds Matter UK with the release of two remixes
Manchester artists KinKai and Akemi Fox join forces with Amsterdam’s Lenzman, releasing two remixes to raise money and awareness for Black Minds Matter UK and Justice for Shukri Abdi on the 19th of June, joining Bandcamp in their Juneteenth campaign.
Released exclusively via The North Quarter’s Bandcamp all profit for Lenzman’s remixes of KinKai’s “Plantain & Champagne (feat. Saffron Grace) and Akemi Fox’s “Fallin” will go to these UK charities, one of which is making mental health topics relevant and accessible for all black people in the UK, while the other is seeking justice for the tragic death of 12 year old Shukri Abdi. Black lives matter, black lives have always mattered. It’s time for change. If not now, then when.
“Plantain & Champagne Remix / Fallin’ Remix” digital and vinyl will be released June 19th on The North Quarter Bandcamp.
