How’d you first discover hip-hop?
I first discovered hip-hop when I watched MTV Jamz .
Who are your musical influences?
Musical influence would be Snoop Dogg, Soulja Slim, Dre, Scott Stortch.
What’s the best thing about repping the West?
Best thing about repping the west is that we have the best bud.
Do you feel that it’s hard to patent y’all sound on the west coast, how did you feel about the influence that y’all give and inspire?
I feel like everybody who’s doing music on the west right now has their own sound to add to the table as far as inspiring the culture, Nipsey Hussle is one of the ones to inspire this generation as far as changing yourself to become a better you and becoming your own boss.
You just released your latest project ‘Slap Season Vol.1’ w/ Santana818, what message are you sending to the industry?
We’re basically letting tha industry know we’re tha next wave that’s about to take over mixing Spanish with west coast. You see raggaeton artist mix it with trap. Well we’re going to be mixing it with.
What’s the best part of being self-made?
The best part about being self made is you get the chance the help put others on as well. On top of that, I get to build a legacy and hand it down to my son.
What are you working on next and what’s the ultimate goal?
More music of course but beside music I’m working on creating these after school programs for the kids. If we keep them focused at a young age and motivated, they will become successful in the future.
What can we expect from you for the remainder of the year and 2021?
Create more hits and keep blowing up new up coming artist.
