Two weeks after her debut of her long-waited single, God Flow; Singer and songwriter, Rekeshia Bennett is giving fans visuals to match her new smash hit. Directed by Jason D. Haas, the classic black and white music video takes fans on a mystical journey of self-discovery. Simple yet sophisticated, the video memorizes its viewers and takes listeners on a spiritual journey of learning to trust God through all obstacles.

The angelic yet soulful tune provides fans with the courage to give their problems to God, have the faith to walk away and let him have full control. Coming from humble beginnings, this talented artist was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Bennett began singing at the young age of 6 in her church youth choir, and has been obsessed with gospel music ever since. It was in church, that her choir director discovered her talent. The director gave Bennett a solo performance that impacted her outlook on music. Yet, like any great spiritual voyage, there have always be bumps and challenges along the way.

From church choirs to musical theaters across Alabama, Bennett began to excel in music, even auditioning for the Apollo. Now residing in Houston, TX, Bennett carries her Baptist Church roots with her as an independent artist. Bennett’s authentic message of God’s grace and unconditional love crescendos throughout her music.

Earlier this year, Bennett released her first freshman single entitled, “Rising Star.” With aspirations of inspiring others around her musically, this entertainer utilizes her raw unique lyrics with virtuous melodies, to make sincere Christian and gospel music.

Continuing to advance her musical career, along with putting forth philanthropy efforts in her walk with Christ; are just a few of the things Bennett is focusing on.
