UK Pop Star Allegra returns with infectious new track with visuals for “Do What I Want”
Back with an anthem filled with defiance and power rising star Allegra arrives with “DO WHAT I WANT”. Boasting an irresistibly feet-moving hand-clap beat and luscious vocal harmonies, Allegra weaves in summer-tinged house-pop beats with colour choruses for repeat button-breaking tune. Forging her own path with this tune, the singer-songwriter is making an impassioned statement with this tune, breaking away from her innovative covers of Billie Eilish’s “Everything I Wanted”.
“I think it shows confidence.” Allegra candidly tells us. “I wrote this one during the lockdown, as well. It’s about being in a confined space and it taught me about my priorities, which is obviously my music. The song is about deciding to do things a certain way, because that’s what makes me happy.”
With previous addictive hit single “All About Us”, breaking number one on various iTunes chart, it’s fair to say big things are to come Allegra’s way and we can’t wait to see what else the singer has in store for us.

A musician since childhood, Allegra was classically trained in choir and violin but secretly dreamed of growing up to be a pop star. “I was always in my room, listening to Rihanna and Beyonce and just signing to my mirror,” she tells Rollacoaster. Signed at 14, she spent a good chunk of her teen years honing her sound and training her voice. Now, at 18, she’s ready to tackle the mainstream.
