Alan Zadeh Becoming SALXCO’s Creative and Business Development’s V.P.

Discredited by the intellectual brains, the skill of creativity has lost its worth in the world’s eyes. The hierarchy of ability that the society has created only values high academic performance while completely negating the concept of creativity. Something rare to find these days. Often creative individuals are demoralized with unsolicited advice that plays their part in belittling their passion.

Traditionally, a person’s potential has been judged by how well one memorizes the textbooks and performs in an exam. It is essential to understand that not every individual can perform well under pressure. Perhaps, those individuals whose skills lie in creative arts are often neglected or labeled as ‘not good enough.’ Which in reality, is not the case.

Despite being exceptionally creative, many individuals opt for professions that are ‘real’ in society’s eyes. Yet, there is still a handful of them who pursue their passion regardless of the unasked-for judgments thrown at them. Among such individuals is Alan Zadeh, a creative star who has paved his way to success.

Having a degree these days is what defines a person’s cleverness. It is the mark that society has created. Alan had always been someone who liked breaking barriers and looking at things from a different perspective. During high school, he started taking an interest in graphic and web design. As Alan entered university, he had developed an interest in the creativity field, yet, his degree wasn’t aligning with his passions. Despite constant efforts and pressure, Alan wasn’t able to continue with his degree, and that was when he decided to drop-out of college and did something extremely close to his heart.

THAT CREATIVE SPARK

Alan is currently the Vice President of the Creative and Business Development department at SALXCO, a position he has earned through his hard work and dedication to the field.  With a burning desire to pursue his passion, he entered the company as a Marketing Manager in 2010. Alan’s progress, nevertheless, has been exceptional.

As the Vice President, Alan oversees all the creative departments that have been flourishing with his artistic mind and innovative ideas. Music videos, Photoshoots, business development, and other marketing initiatives come under Alan’s expertise. With an inventive mind like his, Alan works on scaling SALXCO and venturing the consumer products and tv/film projects.

Besides overseeing the creative for the company’s artists, Alan leads SALXCO into investing in different companies. As the head of the business development team, he directs projects and assets and decides where the investment would create more profit.

CARVING HIS OWN PATH TO SUCCESS

Born on July 1st, 1983, in Sanandaj, Iran, Alan is an ideal example of a self-made individual in the creative industry. Since the beginning, Alan held curiosity about the innovative platforms that fueled the fire within him to learn adobe photoshop, illustrator, in-design, after effects, and web development independently. By the age of 13, Alan had become a pro in developing websites and designing graphics, something that takes years of practice to learn.

In 1992, Alan moved to Canada with his family. He completed his high-school diploma from the J.S. Woodsworth in Ottawa in 2002. In 2003, Alan took admission in Carleton University; however, it was something he was really skeptical about. The traditional education system didn’t excite or hold any interest in his eyes. The world is a colorful palette, yet he was suck in a black/white world.

Alan, the multitalented individual in the artistic field, decided to drop out of college to cut down all the distractions that kept him from working on his passion. He initially started his professional journey in 2007 as a senior web developer at Corel Software. After his successful entry, he was then hired by the C.P. Music Group as the designer & marketing manager. Alan’s journey at the music company helped him acquire branding and designing skills, something that was close to his heart.

As a big fan of designing and creativity, Alan launched his very own clothing line called the “ParisPolice Clothing.” After polishing his designing skills with his brand’s help, Alan sold his brand and decided to give his undivided attention to his passion.

WIDENING HIS HORIZONS

With Alan’s entry into SALXCO, his desire to learn more and grow his creativity did not end. In fact, he developed an interest in creating a video production company that would focus on music videos, and short films. After working with the company for almost five years, Alan had produced 40 successful films that had enabled him to make good use of his creative mind.

By following his true dreams and passions, Alan has created a path for him that has been nothing but phenomenal. His journey to becoming the V.P. for SALXCO’s creative and business development has resulted from his hard work and commitment to the field, which is rare to find in individuals these days.
