What first got you into music?

My father was a musician, My stepfather and his family were musicians as well. I was really into all types of music so the want to play came to me easily.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

I typically make Hard Rock / Punk Rock music with more than just a straightforward rhythm approach.

What is your creative process like?

I usually start with an acoustic guitar, then work on the rhythm section (drums, percussion and bass) then i work on coming up with a melody to compliment the music and most times i have to do that by making up fake lyrics to start….

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

This may sound crazy as a Hard Rock guy….., but I would love to get Eminem.. It’s a track on the EP called “Sick Thoughts”.

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

Foo Fighters.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I appreciate all the support during these wild times and I hope to see you all as soon as I can start performing again!

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?

Haha. Yes don’t we all? Depends on my mood but most of the time its old Motown jams. I love Smokey Robinson.

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Working a construction job in Wilmington NC.

Where have you performed? What are your favourite and least favourite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?

No upcoming shows, but i have performed all over the United States, the Caribbean and some of Canada.

Favorite venue – House of Blues

Least favorite venue – Made myself forget the name of it.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

I think it has helped with exposure but hurt everyone monetarily.

What is your favourite song to perform?

Thin Disguise, my current single.

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

Let’s just say I used to be trouble……

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Listen more than you speak, you might learn something.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Make sure musicians are vetted to knowing how to really play their instruments vs hiding behind protools.

What’s next for you?

My “Down By The Fire EP” will be available for pre-sale February 27th 2021 and will be everywhere music is sold March 12th 2021. During pre-sale , if purchased, the next single “Cliche” is available right away for listening.

How important is the current COVID crisis to you and how do you think you could help?

I can’t say that it has affected me or my family directly, however I think that wearing mask, following mandates is more about helping those that would be easily infected, so do that….
