Live Session with director, actor and producer, Brian Hooks. He is bridging the gap between the film-TV industry and at-risk youth in an effort to break the violent gang cycle inner-city youth face and ultimately create a more diverse and inclusive industry. He is accomplishing this by providing them the opportunity to take part in real filmmaking and production through his organization, Left of Bang Entertainment. Given the setbacks due to COVID-19, the organization has launched a virtual film school this month, where students learn the basics of filmmaking, producing, and more from veterans in the industry.
He has reached out to some of Hollywood’s top celebrities to join the movement and make a difference like Anthony Anderson, Vivica A. Fox, JB Smoove, Tabitha Brown and more to take part in the virtual film school to help mentor youth and engage them in the film and entertainment world and let them know they too can achieve anything.
