Tommy Vext & Anything But Human in Dallas, TX

Man, it feels good to be back!

Everyone who’s relieved to see 2021 concerts back in session say “I”!

Gas Monkey Bar & Grill was absolutely bumping with energy last week when Texans from all over came to see Tommy Vext and Anything But Human blow us all away.

To say that the crowd was anticipating this show would be an understatement. Audience members were buzzing with excitement and fully prepared to welcome the performers back to the stage to bring us out of the recent pandemic totally void of live music. Elation was in the air!

The opening band came in with a bang and intensified the excitement.

What do you get when you mix a legendary voice with a contemporary sound? You get Anything But Human, the newest powerhouse band that’s come to make their permanent mark on rock history. Unlike anything you’ve heard before, they shake the venue with a rare, explosive talent and a voice that will define rock music for generations to come. Check out my favorite song of theirs “Arise”, on Spotify. It’s a “feel good” banger if there ever was one!

The crowd exploded all over again when headliner Tommy Vext took the stage. Passion! Adrenaline! Influence! Wave after wave, the audience rode out the emotion and received Tommy with their waiting, open arms. It was clear these fans had been holding on tight and could finally breathe a sigh of relief now that they could continue engaging in their favorite entertainment and go on about their normal lives. He undoubtedly brought everything he had to the stage and touched the hearts of each and every person in the crowd as they sang along to the lyrics they love in unison.

For some of us, live music is more than just a show. It’s a pure art form; a way of life – the ultimate community to express ourselves and feel understood. Tommy brought that back to his audience. All of the performers that night did. And they needed it. We all needed it. Like I said, it feels good to be back.
