C-Nice is Back With a New Hit – Masterpiece

C-Nice brings beautiful, old-school hip-hop, pop-infused flavor in “Masterpiece.” The atmospheric approach here takes shape, and beats hit with grace. The layered approach has a stately quality to it, conveying modern-day romance. Featuring the artist Jae Santana, the rhythms feature a laid-back, easy-going groove. The styles bring a bit of G-Funk, hip-hop, R&B, and soul into this satisfying whole. One can hear the sweet thoughtful approach of De La Soul within the mix. With a hint of playfulness, both artists make sure to take their time, allowing every detail plenty of room. By incorporating a neat funky vibe to it, they also bring up some elements of Anderson .Paak within the atmosphere.

Mixed and mastered by Asaf Fulks of OC Recording Company, the music video drew the audience’s attention quickly, amassing more than 87K views in just two weeks after it was released. C-Nice is known for his versatile style and has collaborated with big artists in the past, such as Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Glasses Malone, and many more.

Hailing from Long Beach, CA, C-Nice started recording his first songs at the age of 15. His first big splash in the music industry was with his single “Do For Me,” which received heavy airplay from radio station 93.5 K-DAY. And last year, he released “Small Talk” which was also a great success, accumulating 600K+ streams. Released in March of this year, his “The Recoup” music video received more than 107K views to date. Indeed, this rising artist is showing no sign of slowing down. Moreover, C-Nice is also active in supporting his community, assisting with events for the Hope Foundation.
