American artist Sweetapple Wes is a staple in the alternative Hip-Hop space, and has risen in popularity with his unique storytelling and open reflections on the dark and light aspects of life. Relatable to many in his generation, Wes hopes to share his stories and experiences as a way to shine a light on the tough parts of life, while also reflecting on the challenges of his upbringing.

His music hits the soul in a powerful way, with his raps and rhymes set over soulful hip-hop beats. Music has always been more than a career for Wes– it’s a form of therapy and a way to destress for him. With his experiences through both the ups and downs of life and his musical talent, Wes is uniquely fit as a voice of his generation.

From dealing and using drugs as a young teenager to now having 2 songs on the Top 150 Independent Hip-Hop/B&B charts, Wes’s career shows no signs of slowing anytime soon.
