Detroit Natives Launch Inaugural Motor City Industry Fest in Celebration of Music, Tech, Entrepreneurship, Arts and Culture

The festival is set to include A-List performers and panelists including national radio personality Angela Yee, HuffPost Editor Phil Lewis, Big Sean’s manager Zeno Jones, Detroit President Pro-Tem Mary Sheffield, and more.

After a nearly 18-month pandemic hiatus, The Capital Brand led by husband and wife, JT and Randi Maples will be making their mainstage production debut this fall, with the first Motor City Industry Festival. On November 12th through 14th, the celebrity and community-filled event will include conference panels discussing the music industry, entrepreneurship, business, financial literacy, and more; a high-end car & fashion show, a job fair, local small business vendors, and live concert performances featuring A-list performers and musicians from around the world.

“People want to attend events again. Our job is to make these events meaningful and worth their time”, says J.T. Maples, owner and event organizer of The Capital Brand. “The goal is to produce a weekend-long series of impactful conversations, connections, and of course live concert performances that the city, state, and region will enjoy and anticipate for next year.”

Founder of OhSoRadio, co-producer of Industry Fest and wife to Maples, Randi Rossario Maples is already a globally recognized influencer and successful entrepreneur herself. The mogul’s passion and hopes for the event are that people will leave with the sense of “I can do it too!” in regard to pursuing their passions in career, life and in business.

“We’re excited to curate something impactful and fresh for the city,” says Rossario Maples. “We’re bringing in some of the biggest social influencers in the fields of music, tech, entrepreneurship, film, investing, business, cryptocurrency, forex trading, digital assets, mainstream media and more in one place to connect, learn, and inspire each other.”

Although this event is set to host over 10,000 youth and adults from the region, the scope of Industry Fest is much larger than the November weekend production, as the power couple aims to take the festival in its entirety on a 5-7 city tour beginning in January. More details on dates and locations will become available later this year.

Tickets are on sale now at www.industryfest.com to all ages.
