0Live Session with Actor Jessi Case Who Talks Her Journey, Hopes and Leading From the Front on Issues Close to Her
Live Session with the amazing Jessi Case who stars as Amber in the recent film from Blumhouse, AMERICAN REFUGEE, which premiered on EPIX on Dec 10th, and is now PVOD via Paramount Entertainment.
She also stars in the upcoming film GOOD GIRL JANE (opposite Andie McDowell) which is slated for release in 2022. Other credits include ON A WING AND A PRAYER (filming), DEFENDING JACOB, and STUMPTOWN.
Known for her breakout role in MOTHERS DAY (opposite Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis, and Jennifer Aniston), Jessi spoke to what she learned from her journey in the industry, and why she’s not your typical Hollywood starlet. She also discussed some of the ways she advocates for the environment and avoids animal products. You KNOW we had a lil difference of opinion when I announced that I was a meatatarian! It was fun all the way round but one thing for certain, this young lioness is very aware of the issues including social justice, etc. and though we didn’t go deep, she left a powerful impression.
Jessi has an air about her that is self-assured and confident which made me forecast during the conversation that with more youngsters like her…we will be alright…I also think we’ll be seeing much more of Jessi on-screen over the decades.
At just 21 years old, she’s committed to the greater good with a “belief that we can change the world with our own actions, and that we should do everything as if the world is following our lead.”
I WAS going to do this long editorial but if I keep going it’ll just seem like she had a conversation with a fan and you’ll miss out on her dynamic personality, thoughtfulness, and comedic tendancies…Tune In!
