This is Hip Hop: Endemic Emerald – Critical Mass Ft. Rim, Innocent? Foul Monday & DJ Mr. Switch

I’ve been hearing about this cat Rim from one of my most trusted DJ friends DJ Beanz, originally out of Boston but now holding it down in LA on DASH Radio’s Native Rhymes…She said this artist Rim needed to be talked about more and I decided to find out why. Just so happens, I get this inbox on Twitter shouting out this new joint  Critical Mass that features who else but Rim LOL…all I can say is wow the WHOLE crew on this joint is amazing…actually for Hip Hop heads there probably aren’t enough words to describe this joint so check the visuals and get a bar of what all the Hype is about!

Here’s the official line on the drop

When you see the words hip-hop, Brooklyn and Queens all in the same sentence, most would unanimously agree something raw and hardcore is about to occur.  Without further ado, I present “Critical Mass”, veteran beat chemist, Endemic Emerald‘s masterful blend of Brooklyn’s Rim (Duck Down) and Innocent? with Queens’ Foul Monday over an earthquake-like soundscape guaranteed to shake up the concrete jungle.  Four-time World DJ Champion, DJ Mr. Switch, surgically cuts the words, “It’s that raw hardcore”, announcing what the listener is in for.

The visual’s director, Hostage Media, perfectly captures the authenticity of the rugged NYC streets while Rim, Innocent?, and Foul Monday take turns painting the track with their poetic venom.

When speaking about “Critical Mass”, Endemic Emerald stated, “Sometimes you have to just give them that raw-uncut. The concept of this song is no concept, it’s simply the raw hardcore.  We had to take’em back to the roots.”

“Critical Mass” is the first music video from Endemic Emerald’s upcoming 3rd album, “The Virux”, which features a long list of renowned guest appearances including Planet AsiaGeneral SteeleRoyal FlushChris RiversSadat XTragedy Khadafi, and Rustee Juxx.  “The Virux” is slated to arrive on all digital platforms December 10th, and will also be available on limited edition CDs, cassettes and vinyl via No Cure Records / Fat Beats / Ingrooves Music Group.

Here’s ALL the connects so make sure you tap in with these lions!
