Matty stated, “I never went to college because I knew I’d drop out. If I had to shell out $40k or more for college, I’d rather put it into bettering myself and the things I do.” According to Matty, sometimes you have to stop doing what you are told to do, find a purpose, and make your own rules to succeed. He says that earning money is important, but so is finding fulfillment in your work if you plan to do it for the rest of your life.

That courage and that can-do attitude have placed this young recording artist at a higher level as a rising talent in the music industry. His music is unique because he speaks about his own experiences, real-life situations, and things like relationships, friends, depression, and emotions, which are relatable to many people. Whenever he makes a move, he takes the time to thoroughly consider his decisions and does all in his power to bring his best to the table.

This young man has come a long way and is thankful for the opportunities and the people he came across. “Mentally and physically, I’ve gripped strongly on my craft and professional image to be who I am today. By now, I’ve built a solid squad and am very clear about what I want to do with my life. The only thing that I see when I look at where I am today is that I’m only going up from here,” said Matty.

Rather than dwelling on the past, he advises newer generations to use it as a chance to grow and improve themselves. Matty says that no one has it all figured out, and that’s the essence of life.
