naBBoo Opens Up About His Musical Journey – His Rise as a Sought-After Record Producer
It’s undeniable that raw passion can be tainted by the lingering anxiety of competition. In a fast-paced music world, there’s always a new voice, new record, new project and so forth––creatives need to pay special attention to the way they craft their music in order to remain nuanced within a tenacious industry. Some people have talent and can express their creativity in unique ways, others seem to compromise their identity to be relevant and lose themselves in the mix. Lack of appreciation, lack of respect, lack of motivation, lack of consistency, and lack of reflection on the craft can make any talent lose its substance. Every artist should find a way to bring something memorable to the table and turn heads. Enter naBBoo.
Hailing from Macedonia, a small country in Europe and living in the capital city of Skopje, naBBoo walked a long way and transformed himself from a classical violin player to a vetted record producer and musical aficionado.
naBBoo always considered music as an integral part of his life so you’ll quickly discover a vast discography–melodies typically float. through his mind throughout the day, so musical inspiration hasn’t been a stumbling block. When it comes to production, he starts with his instrument of choice, and then once he’s satisfied with the direction, he’ll continue to build around that. In addition to composition, naBBoo mixes and masterers his own production, vocals, and also scouts talented singers to help complete songs.
When asked about his views on the recent generation’s struggles to become artists, he said, “ I’d say things are changing in the music industry, and being independent is not that complicated as it would be 10-15 years ago. With today’s technology and easy access to the internet, I think the possibilities are endless.”
He is currently residing in Paris with his family and working there. He has collaborated with musical artists like M Pokora, Jenifer, and Kylie Minogue only to name a few. His favourite project is “On Oublie Le Reste” Ft. Kylie Minogue which was produced by the talented Bob Sinclar.
One of his most acclaimed international records is “ Out of my mind” featuring Eneli, a Romanian singer whose voice made his track more beautiful than ever.
