0Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula One Car Races From New York to Florida for Miami GP First Laps
This just in from Red Bull Racing: Race to Miami, is a new content piece from Red Bull where Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 driver Sergio “Checo” Perez drives down the coast from New York to Miami in one day and takes the first lap around the new Miami Grand Prix track. As the Formula 1 season heats up, Race to Miami countdowns to the Miami Grand Prix on May 6-8.
The video takes the Oracle Red Bull Racing racecar to places it’s never been before: from Wall Street to the swampy Everglades and onto the Hard Rock Stadium field in Miami Gardens, FL. Some treats from the video are cameos from Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner, professional wakeboarder and barefoot water skier Parks Bonifay (who saves him from an 11-foot alligator), Miami Dolphins player Byron Jones, tennis pro Reilly Opelka, and skateboarders Jamie Foy and Zion Wright. On top of that, they get a first look at an F1 car driving around the Miami Grand Prix track.
Oracle Red Bull Racing Driver, Sergio Perez said: “I loved taking part in my first Red Bull road trip. I remember seeing the one of Daniel crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and never thought I would get the chance to be part of it. I think Miami is the perfect place for Formula One. It’s a very fun city and there’s a good energy there. The track is looking awesome and I can’t wait to see all the fans there. Austin always feels like a home race for me and I think Miami will be similar.”
