Meet Margaret-Gospel From Ghana Aka Margaret Twumwaa Ntiri

Margaret-Gospel is my stage name as far as my ministry is concerned. I am a Singer-songwriter and Sharer of the gospel. My official and private name are Margaret Twumwaa Ntiri. I am a Ghanaian living in Accra, Ghana. I had my tertiary education from University of Ghana Business School, and majored in Health Service Administration. Also, I hold a Diploma in French Language studies and a certificate in German Language from Alison, Ireland. I obtained my secondary education from Aburi Girls’ Senior High School, Akuapem as a Science Student in Ghana. When it comes to the ministry and the call of God on my life, I believe it started at the age of 14 when I started having revelations and dreams about Heaven and Hell, and also saw a white angel with blue eyes visited me physically when I was ill with fever. But I kept most of these spiritual matters to myself because my relatives hardly understood me when I tried to explain to them. I still hear from God and this guides my destiny and the choices I make in life.

It has been 12 years of songwriting and so far I have written down 25 tracks of which only 2 has been released officially. I wrote most of the songs out of inspiration, revelations, and dreams as well as based on personal convictions and experience. The journey has not been smooth and being an independent gospel artist, I actually did not know how to release my songs because I was financially constrained. In my quest to release the songs, I faced rejection and mockery on countless occasions and some people also discouraged me that releasing gospel songs will not take me anywhere so I should change my mind. I objected and assured them, that God will not disappoint me.

In November, 2020, I made a decision to start a YouTube Channel and see if I could release any of my songs out there because I felt that the Holy Spirit wanted me to release the songs. I started a YouTube channel named Margaret-Gospel and made videos on motivational and godly dating tips with the vision of gaining followers and support so I could release the songs. After one year of being on YouTube as a Content Creator, God made a way for me to release my first track titled ‘Limit’, a hip hop gospel. I scheduled my first music video to be released on 24^th December, 2021 but due to circumstances beyond my control it was released in January, 2022 without any proper publicity because I really struggled with the release. The first music video was poorly shot and edited and a second video had to be created by hiring a different video editor and, later, I felt cheated by the first music distributor too, and had to go through a rigorous process to transfer my music video to another official partner of VEVO, Gotham West in New York City. Due to the stress I went through with the first release, I felt demotivated to release any song, anytime soon, but on March 2022, as I lay in bed the Holy Spirit told me to prepare to release my second track, ‘Purify My Love’, a worship song. I told a German friend of mine who has been a pioneer of support for my ministry about it. He encouraged me to go ahead and do what God wants me to do and supported me.

As my stage name implies, I am more passionate about the gospel and I believe that is what God has called me to do. I love to propagate the gospel musically and share the word to bring inspiration to the broken hearted and the lost as well as to uplift souls for the expansion of God’s kingdom. Additionally, I would love to entreat all and sundry to listen to my songs and let others know about them and I believe if they do, God will favor them and transform their lives gracefully. My officially released songs are available on YouTube VEVO and on 32 music streaming platforms, including Sportify, Apple Music, iTunes, Boomplay, Amazon, and Deezer for downloading. Kindly note that my latest track, ‘Purify My Love’ is only available on my YouTube VEVO channel and will be released to the streaming platforms by 23^rd May, 2022 by TuneCore.
