Brian Henry, Host of B-Hen Block Party Partners with DIAGEO to Kickoff Joy of June

This June, Brian Henry, Host of B-Hen Block Party has partnered with DIAGEO to kickoff Joy of June, a series of local events, programming, and experiences across the country that celebrates the vibrancy of Black joy, identity, and self-expression, while toasting to the creative voices powering change across local communities.

DIAGEO and its brands Smirnoff, Crown Royal, and DeLeon Tequila are starting with a B-Hen Block Party takeover in Los Angeles to kick off Juneteenth weekend. On Saturday, June 18, consumers 21+ are invited to party with a purpose and raise a glass to diversity, inclusion, and intersectionality while dancing and celebrating at the liveliest, most melanated party on the West Coast.

That’s not all, DIAGEO will partner to take B-Hen Block Party across other cities this summer, including DC, Chicago & New York, starting in June through September, expanding Black Joy festivities all summer long.

“This Juneteenth, we’re bringing The B-Hen Block Party back home to LA and making it bigger than ever by partnering with Diageo to showcase unapologetic Black Joy. Our community is doing so many amazing, beautiful and positive things — and we’re here to celebrate all of it!,” states Brian Henry, founder of The B-Hen Block Party. “I’m looking forward to everyone joining us as we toast to Black creativity, Black excellence, Black families, Black love, and Black Pride – Happy Juneteenth!”
