Rapper FortManny Bets Talks New Single ‘Everyday’ and Upcoming EP
FortManny Bets just dropped his new single “Everyday” off his upcoming EP!
We got to chop it up with him to get into the details of his life in the music limelight.
Have people ever referred to you as a self-made success?
Yes, a lot of people have referred to me as a self-made success. They follow my every move on Instagram and become inspired by my lifestyle.
I always try and provide as much value as I possibly can to show others that they are capable of achieving their dreams too!
In what way is that true or not true?
No, I don’t think I am self-made, there are many others out there that have helped me get to where I am, saying I’m self-made would just be a lie, and taking credit from those people.
I have had a lot of support from people that believed in my craft and I believe a strong support system can really do wonders for your career and creativity.
What does it take for someone to have the kind of success you have?
Honestly, consistency and patience. You have to possess those two things to be successful in my opinion. A lot of people lack those things and that’s what really separates the average from above average.
At what point do you feel like you really crossed over from trying to doing?
The moment I got in the studio and recorded my first hit single “EVERYDAY”. At that moment I realized that I had a passion for Music and was going to put my all into it.
Did you ever fake it till you made it?
I’ve never faked in it my life because honestly, I’ve been having motion since a JIT. I was always the flyest growing up and knew how to hustle.
I don’t believe we should portray ourselves as anything other than who and what we are. You cannot challenge authenticity! I put that same energy into my music.
Your new song is out and streaming now, how exciting is it to see your listeners enjoying your musical art?
Man, it’s always a blessing working on music for hours and hours to perfect it, and when it finally reaches the listener and becomes a part of their life.
That feeling is undeniable and it’s what keeps me going.
When is the full EP coming out?
You can expect to get it at the height of the new year in 2023, I have a lot of exciting work on the radar and this EP will really open some ears.
