Major Record Labels are Lining Up to Talk to Viral Sensation Letoa

New Zealand native, Letoa, has been steadily rising on the aesthetic rap scene thanks to the release of banger after banger and the support of his fervent fan base. Letoa has received millions of plays through streaming services such Spotify and YouTube, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. When some artists seem to hit a creative block and stop giving their audience what they want, Letoa keeps digging deep into his bag and comes up with brilliant high-quality content that goes viral. He established himself as a leader in the aesthetic rap genre, and he maintains that position even as his highly anticipated debut rap album, “HUGOSTIGLITZ” is about to be released.

Letoa is well-known for his rap catalog, which includes viral tracks such as “Slatnoslime,” “back it up”, “E45”, “BAND$”, “So Fresh, So Clean”, and “guap”, among many others. “Guap”, a fan favorite, was a collaborative project with lilbubblegum that has been streamed over 14 million times on Spotify and has 4.7 million video views on YouTube. In response to the overwhelming positive reception of the track, Letoa and LilBubbleGum collaborated with 1nonly to release a follow-up song titled “Guap 2.” The braggadocious verses and hard-hitting punch lines of the trio are highlighted by a haunting piano and violin looping instrumental. The breathtaking visuals from the music video, which features drifting stunts on a thrilling joyride, are still being enjoyed by fans today.

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Letoa’s debut album, “HUGOSTIGLITZ.” Hugo Stiglitz, the main character in one of Letoa’s favorite Tarantino flicks, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, inspired the album’s title. The track’s music is composed of basic drum patterns and thunderous 808s, both of which bring out Letoa’s gloomy monochrome lyrical style. Hugo Stiglitz, as he identifies himself on this tune, raps about money and calling people out for mispronouncing his name. For the production, Letoa shot a music video in Los Angeles directed by Jack Roitier and including a prison break reminiscent of Hugo Stiglitz. California’s magnificent desert at night was the setting for the song’s accompanying run-and-gun sequences, which were filmed in a separate area to match the song’s ominous mood.

Numerous record labels are anxious to meet with Letoa because of his track record of consistent hit production, his committed fan following, his millions upon millions of streams and views, and his high-quality videos. Universal Music Group, Warner Music, and Sony are all keeping a close eye on Letoa as he has proven over and over again that he is not a one-hit wonder or a passing fad.
