To Landon Hall, like many, music has always been a vital component of our lives and human culture and is used as a powerful and effective tool for expressing feelings and emotions, conveying valuable knowledge, and encouraging and supporting a movement or cause. Music can help drive positive changes in society by promoting inspiring messages and can also be used to create awareness about social, political, or cultural issues.

Music has become such an important aspect of our daily life that for some people, it has become very difficult to imagine a life without it. Music also acts as an economic driver for societies by providing social cohesion and employment opportunities and can strengthen a country’s image and reputation by fueling economic activities and growth in many industries such as media, hospitality, tourism, and entertainment. Many countries, states, and municipalities have designed policies to help the music industry prosper as they are aware of the impact it has on the economy of a country.

However, the prosperity of the music industry depends on the skills and talent of musicians. A great musician has an aesthetic sensibility, active imagination, intellectual curiosity, inner receptivity, divergent thinking, and the ability to express their emotions through music. One such musician who has made numerous contributions to the music industry through his soulful works is Landon Hall.

Landon Hall is a drummer, songwriter, actor, musician, and entrepreneur, who was born and raised most of his early life in Overland Park, Kansas. Growing up, Hall moved around a lot for his father’s job which caused him to go to three different high schools in three different States. Since his childhood, he developed a passion for music and when he was just eleven years old, he started playing drums at a local megachurch for the worship team and continued to do so throughout his high school years. Without any guidance or supervision, and through constant efforts, training, and practice he taught himself to play different musical instruments such as drums, guitar, piano, and bass.

He started off his musical career as a drummer for various bands such as De La Torre, the rock band which was led by Anthony De La Torre. After this association, Hall became a popular name internationally and since then, he has been a part of world-famous bands of diverse genres, including Pop, Rock, and Country.

In his career, he had the opportunity to work and share the stage with popular names and celebrities in the music industry such as Bon Jovi, Desmond Child, Aerosmith, Katey Sagal, and Chad Smith, to name a few. Hall and his band with Anthony De La Torre were also featured on the Nickelodeon show, ‘100 Things to Do Before High School’ in 2016. He has also been a prominent feature on numerous networks including CBS, Lifetime, ABC, HBO, truTV, Syfy, Spike, and Netflix.

In order to utilize his knowledge and expertise, Hall founded the Music City Drum Show, which brought the drumming world together in Nashville, Music City, Tennessee on a common platform. On this platform, several exhibitions and shows are organized for the audience, where they can buy drums, hardware, sticks, and other drum accessories from different global brands.

As an entrepreneur, Hall laid the foundation of a drumstick company, Diemond Star in 2013. By using innovative tools and techniques, his company not only provides a huge variety of high-quality accessories, apparel, and instruments but also contributes to the reduction of stress and fatigue that are regularly faced by drummers during extended music sessions through their shock-absorbing drumsticks.

Hall, through his artistic skills, practice, patience, and craftsmanship, has emotionally, morally, and culturally influenced our society in a positive way and has had a contribution to the overall growth of the music industry.
