Industry Connext 102: Igniting a Wave of Inspiration in Hollywood’s Entertainment Landscape
In an extraordinary celebration of talent and diversity, Industry Connext 102 took center stage as the illustrious red carpet affair, gathering Hollywood’s finest for an exclusive and inclusive panel. This star-studded event, held at the renowned Los Angeles Film School, was a remarkable dedication to elevating the contributions and voices of Latinos within the entertainment landscape. The powerful waves of inspiration generated during this event are set to shape the next generation of entertainment.
A Stellar Lineup of Industry Luminaries
From passion to power, the event kicked off with an alluring red carpet, beckoning industry luminaries to the forefront. The event’s guest list featured a diverse range of special guests, including renowned actors such as Mo Hines from Hulu’s “The Fool,” David Bianchi from BET+’s “Ruthless” and the sci-thriller TV series “RZR,” Marilyn Simon from BET+’s “All the Queen’s Men,” and Vanessa Vasquez known for the romance/comedy film “Divorce Bait.” TV personality Deshay Jones from VH1’s “Black Ink Crew Los Angeles,” Grammy-nominated producer and musical director Solano, and music artist Fachento Boss were also among the distinguished guests. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the captivating performance of a dynamic live mariachi band, setting the stage for a series of powerful panel discussions.
Inspiring Journeys of Self-Discovery and Professional Growth
The panel discussions delved into the profound journeys of self-discovery and professional growth experienced by esteemed Hispanic veterans and emerging stars of Hollywood. Esteemed actors such as Emilio Rivera, known for his unforgettable role in Hulu/Disney+’s “Flamin’ Hot,” shared their wisdom and emphasized the importance of sharing achievements and empowering others by giving back. The engaging dialogue provided a unique glimpse into the transformative stories that have shaped their remarkable careers. Other notable panelists included actors Julio Macias, Anthony Bless, and Diego Tinoco, as well as accomplished professional boxer Jose Encarnacion Zepeda.
A Celebration of Hispanic Cuisine, Culture, and Creativity
Adding to the festivities, Industry Connext 102 featured a crowd-favorite social photo booth, creating connections and sealing lasting memories. Attendees were treated to the mouthwatering delights of Hippos Tacos and the authentic flavors of Jarritos, known as the official drink of tacos, celebrating the essence of Hispanic cuisine, culture, and creativity. Memorable souvenir prizes and other surprises further commemorated this vibrant and inclusive event.

For those who missed the remarkable in-person event, a live stream is available, offering a front-row seat to the transformative experience. Industry Connext 102 was created by CEO and renowned event producer extraordinaire Roberto Barron and hosted by Power 106 radio personality Letty Peniche.
