A Million-Dollar Quest for Happiness

On October 11th, the nation’s capital played host to a heartwarming event as Patrick Carroll, with the backing of his esteemed celebrity friends, donated truckloads of stylish sneakers to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington. This visit marked the tour’s sixth city, and it was no ordinary occasion. Carroll’s goal is to give away an astounding one million dollars worth of sneakers to underprivileged children, a mission that has already made a significant impact in Tampa and Miami, Florida, Atlanta, GA, New York City, Chicago, and now in D.C.

Carroll, a prominent real estate mogul with a portfolio boasting over 30,000 properties, is no stranger to making dreams come true. As he says, “Work hard for your dreams, and you too can live the American dream.”

The man behind the “Kickz For Kids” movement didn’t embark on this journey alone. He enlisted the help of Ben Kickz, known as “The Sneaker Don,” who arrived in D.C. with a Brinks truck overflowing with 600 pairs of high-end sneakers. These sought-after treasures were distributed to eager kids in different locations across the city, spreading joy and excitement wherever they went.
