Karan Randhawa: New Album “LOVERBOY” is the Notorious Journey of a Punjabi Artist

Karan Randhawa credits his family and friends for helping him reach his goals. His latest album, Loverboy, reflects the knowledge he has acquired while chasing his goal of becoming a singer. He attributes his achievements to those who have supported him and looks forward to connecting with listeners through the launch of his recent album.
Randhawa’s love of music began when he was a child, as he loved performing in Bhangra competitions and festivals at school. Despite knowing nothing about the music industry, he had a deep passion for singing. Randhawa does not come from wealth, but his father has been his biggest supporter and inspiration. He admits that he would never have been successful without his father’s constant support.
His other major challenge was understanding the music industry. He went into his career naive of the obstacles he would face when trying to break into it. Randhawa credits the teams at Geet MP3 and GK Digital Companies for educating him about the industry and elevating him to success. His current team is always helping to teach him more about music and the industry while effectively managing his career.
Randhawa’s breakout single, “5 – 7 Yaar,” brought him to a broader audience in 2017. The track introduced his flair for vocals and confident persona. His debut album, Rambo, was released in 2021 and showed his stylistic range. Romantic tracks were mixed with G-Funk/Punjabi Fusion and acoustic songs, showing Randhawa’s raw talent. He became known for his acoustic guitar tracks in particular and considers singles like “Jhanjra” and “Phulkari” to be some of the highlights of his musical journey thus far. His career continued to grow from there, and he has since released three other full-length projects. XYZ emerged in 2022, and Jatt Da Nishana followed in 2023. Loverboy is Randhawa’s fourth project, released on March 13, 2024.
The nine-track album is relatively short at 24 minutes, but it is not lacking in excellence. Loverboy features exciting artists like Bohemia on the track “Haye Oye” and Sultan on “Bluff.” While Randhawa is already well-known in the Punjabi music community, he hopes to take his fame international with the release of Loverboy. The album is meant for a global audience while retaining Randhawa’s signature Punjabi style.
Randhawa is looking forward to sharing his music and his story with fans all over the world. He wants to inspire others to follow their dreams regardless of their origins. His humble beginnings did not stop Randhawa from developing into an esteemed artist. From his perspective, all you need is a passion for your craft and the support of friends and family to succeed. With the release of Loverboy, Randhawa is spreading this message far and wide. The music and his story will attract and inspire new fans. Randhawa has already taken the Punjabi music world by storm and plans to dominate the international scene next.
