introducing The Icon: Riff Raff, a.k.a. Jody Highroller!

Let’s hop into this long overdue, highly anticipated second solo collection NEON iCON — Conceptually, what does this title represent both to and for you?

It’s the first day of my career. I am the NEON iCON and there isn’t another!

How does NEON iCON either differ and/or compare to that of your 2012 solo debut, The Golden Alien?

I NEVER had an Album yet! Everything prior to NEON iCON was NEVER in stores as a physical copy, (and) everyone involved in music knows that until you have a physical copy you are yet to be an artist yet.

For NEON iCON you aligned yourself with the “World Famous” artist/producer extraordinaire Diplo, eventually even inking to his Mad Decent imprint — What particular string of events led to this union?

We are both big deals and (so) we made this Big album happen!

In having said this, how much overall input does/did Diplo have when it came to the whole recording and creative process for NEON iCON?

We both built this album 200%.

You also teamed up with quite a few other impressive/high profile artists/producers; i.e., Drake, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, DJ Mustard, Skrillex and Noah “40” Shebib, to name some — How did some of these stellar collaborations even come about?

We are Big iCONS and we aligned the stars.

Longevity, what do you feel it is actually that has been the ultimate key to your success?

Not successful yet, my career starts the day NEON iCON hits the stores!

Do you have any other additional/outside future aspirations, maybe even completely away from entertainment?

Life…I just look inside myself and see what life I want to live and without responsibility.

On a more serious note, are you happy with the overall state of Hip-Hop?

I don’t deal with the public.

And, with that being said, you have definitely received more than your fair share of criticism in the form of both your doubters and naysayers — So, what message exactly do you have for those certain individuals who don’t necessarily take you seriously as an artist?

I have no message, all I have is my dreams.

To date, what has been your biggest career moment?

Waiting on NEON iCON!

Looking ahead, say five or even ten years from now, where do you see yourself?

I just live for today.

As for the immediate, what’s next for RiFF RAFF?

NEON iCON album!

Is there anything I left out or just plain forgot to mention?

NEON iCON album coming soon!

Any “message(s)” for our readers?

Yeah, nice tits ladies!
