Live Session: Mykell Vaughn

Mykell Vaughn is a hip hop artist; singer, rapper, and songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri. Vaughn grew up with his elder family members who introduced him to music early on in his career. His uncles often referred to him as “Little Master P,” when they noticed his star quality as a youth. At age 8, Mykell recorded his first song. Some of Mykell’ s biggest music influences are Master P, 2Pac and Nelly who greatly contributed to the type of music he creates today.

The Hype Magazine Editor-in-Chief spoke with Mykell following the massive release of his debut single “She Don’t Wanna.”
