Prohaize – Justice Trail Documentary [Video]

On September 20, 2015, Edward “Prohaize” Minta began running and cycling from the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA to Liberty Island in New York City, on a mission to increase awareness for solutions that facilitate greater transparency and accountability between police officers and civilians through a progressive implementation of body cameras. After 20 grueling days, the musician-turned-activist successfully trekked over 750 miles and completed his journey to the Statue of Liberty in New York City.

A videographer, in addition to a shoulder-mounted camera, documented every step of this life-changing adventure. The footage has been used to produce a 30-minute documentary detailing the “Justice Trail” experience. Interviews featuring Aurielle Marie, Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Londrelle Hall, Bridget Anderson and Prohaize have been intertwined into this visual to expand the dialogue around how we, as a racially diverse population, can create a more impartial American justice system.
