New Wave British Punk from The Jacques – Live at Dot to Dot Festival + Kendal Calling- New Single

From Bristol UK, this is The Jacques (https://www.facebook.com/TheJacquesBand/?fref=ts) and new single Eleanor Ring Me. It’s a modern take on punk rock from an upcoming British band that are taking the live and festival scene by storm. The band will play Dot To Dot Festival this weekend.

The Jacques are becoming one of the best live bands on the circuit, as you’ll see by their live dates together above, the demand to book them is huge… Dates confirmed now for Kendal Calling supporting Noel Gallagher, Rudimental and The Charlatans on the main stage (www.kendalcalling.co.uk/attractions/the-main-stage), whilst also just announcing supporting Primal Scream in August at Down To The Woods Festival.

In the build up to their first album we’ve got this new single that carries on the angst of the bands previous EP releases
Two minutes thirty-seven seconds of gritty pink rock guitar licks, with a distorted bass trudging away in support. This has become The Jacques trademark, no nonsense sound and was recorded at the legendary RAK Studios, London and produced by Dan Swift (Ash, Snow Patrol, Aqualung).

Band Quote:
“This tune is a kick at the people and things that we are distancing ourselves from now. I don’t think that lyrically it needs making sense of, but those who wish to interpret it will do that anyway of course. As I said though, just a kick.”
