NELLY CELEBRATES TWO NIGHT BIRTHDAY AND ANNOUNCES TRAVELING JAM SESSSION TOUR KICKING OFF WITH JERMAIN DUPRI, BOBBY BROWN, KELLY ROWLAND, CARL THOMAS, CHINGY, TOO SHORT AND MORE

The stars of hip hop came out to celebrate the birthday of the most popular guy in hip hop, Nelly, and launch his new concept tour of Nelly and Friends. The concept is based on the love of Hip Hop, Rap and the flow of those in the game past and present jammin together in an impromptu session. At each tour stop, the fans will be treated not only to a concert by Nelly, but also surprise guests from today’s top artists, to OG artists from the last 20 years. Nelly has been in the industry for over twenty years and has worked with or earned the respect of artists across all ages and genres which means the surprise guests could be anyone!  The kick off launched this weekend and included performances by Kelly Rowland, Lost Boyz, Young Joc, Freeway, Khia, Ying Yang twins, Young Guns, Bobby Brown, Chingy, Teyana Taylor, Carl Thomas, Too Short,  and Jermaine Dupri.  The energy is humorous, fun and makes for amazing collaborations and creative output. Nelly’s manager J Erving commented, “Nobody is doing anything like this besides on special collaborations on awards shows. This concept is about bringing these amazing performers together to do what they love and their talent and passion comes alive when they perform together and the audience can feel the fun and excitement. It is a charged performance and you never know who will show up!”
