Cut Connex Urban Music Convention and Award Show

Cut Connex, sponsored by Music Ontario is Canada’s largest Urban Music Convention and Awards Show.

This is Cut Connex’s third year showcasing the diverse talent that exists across Canada. The two-day celebration of Hip Hop runs May 6th -7th at two locations in Toronto, the Sheraton Center Hotel and Queen Elizabeth Theater in the Exhibition Grounds.  The convention offers two days of networking opportunities and performances by award-winning Hip Hop artists Peter Jackson, Gee Wunder and more.   The convention will offer ten workshops featuring industry executives from Socan and Def Jam to answer questions.

Upcoming artists will also have the unique opportunity to have their music heard and reviewed by a panel of industry professionals gathered at Cut Connex’s Demo listening session. Artists will receive production, song writing and radio play advice from industry insiders gathered under one roof.  The two-day music convention also allows attendees access to sixty Hip Hop industry related booths and the music of four of Canada’s top DJ’s.

Canadian Hip Hop pioneer, Choclair will host Cut Connex’s Awards Show, Saturday, May 6th at the Queen Elizabeth Theater, Exhibition grounds.
