Farrah Mechael’s Debut EP ‘Farrah Please’ Lands Her Spot on Digi Tour

Farrah Mechael is a Detroit based singer that has been building momentum with her debut EP ‘Farrah Please.’ Straying from the contemporary pop format and blending in elements of RnB and electronica, it makes for a compelling listen and the perfect introduction. ‘Farrah Please’ was released to all streaming platforms on December 21st 2017.

Comprised of 6-tracks, ‘Farrah Please’ is bursting with a potent mix of undeniable vocal ability and forward-thinking production. With beautifully layered harmonies and hypnotizing melodies, Farrah is a master of vocal dynamics and knows when to pick her spots.

Farrah found inspiration to sing after hearing the song ‘Once Upon a Dream,’ featured in the 1959 version of Sleeping Beauty. She began singing jazz and opera but ultimately Farrah found her voice in pop music. Farrah attributes her romantic side from the fairy-tale influence but there is also a darker, edgier side that comes across in her music. Farrah also garners inspiration from artists she looks up to like the late Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga.

“I want my music to take you back to a special time in your life. I want my music to make you feel deeply and love passionately. I want my music to set you free.” Farrah has a level of thoughtfulness and understanding that comes across in her music and aesthetic.

‘Farrah Please’ has RnB smoothness, keeps an electronic edge but is definitively a pop record. The EP showcases undeniable star quality that suggests Farrah Mechael has a long career ahead of her.

Farrah Mechael is joining the Digi Tour this spring on a run of 16 dates. Kicking off March 14th, the run brings Farrah to venues all over the US. The tour is an all-ages, family friendly tour with a huge line-up including Max & Harvey, Justin Blake, Tyler Brown, Raegan Beast.
