Frontstreet Release Intense Video For New Single Ghost Town

Dutch outfit Frontstreet have released the official video for new single Ghost Town, the third track to be taken from last year’s well-received debut album Reality Check. The clip explores frontman Martijn Huijskes’ mindset as he waxes lyrical about the Dutch city of Lelystad, which the band liken to a ghost town. The accompanying video hammers these thoughts home, with Huijskes painting a bleak picture of Lelystad as he takes to the streets of a deserted village. Although the video itself was not filmed in Lelystad, the band manage to present an accurate representation of their collective hometown. The song itself, one of the softer tracks on Reality Check, is a slick slice of impactful nu-metal capable of sending crowds into a frenzy whilst retaining a sense of radio-friendliness which emphasis their accessibility.

Speaking of the track, the band say: “Ghost Town is about how uncomfortable experiences can leave you stuck within your own thoughts. You get the feeling that it leaves you all by yourself. At the end of the day, though, it revolves around who is standing there ready to support you.
