Kanye West, LeBron James will run for President in 2020 says Kardashian-ex

Kanye West has been pretty vocal about his displeasure of LeBron James joining the Los Angeles Lakers.

This week, West told TMZ that James should have stayed with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

I feel like LeBron really needs to be in Cleveland,” West said. “And that ain’t my place, and I’m sorry, [Maverick Carter] and LeBron for saying, I know I’m speaking out of place. But, I feel like LeBron needs to be in Cleveland.”

James exercised his right to join the Los Angeles Lakers via free agency in July after playing for his hometown, Cleveland Cavaliers for a second stint the past four years.

James told ESPN in this summer that he was ecstatic to join the Lakers especially with Magic Johnson working in the Lakers’ front office. The three-time NBA champion stated that he looked up to the NBA Hall of Famer during his childhood. “I wanted to make no look passes like Magic,” he said. “I wanted to get on the break and be Showtime like Magic”

James’ move to Los Angeles is perfect synergy. He has multiple film projects pending like Space Jam 2.

Apparently, all of this chatter by Kanye and lateral moves by LeBron is all a plot to run for the Nation’s highest office, President of the United States in 2020, according to former NBA player, Rashad McCants.

Los Angeles Lakers forward, LeBron James is preparing a run for President in the 2020 Presidential Election, according to former NBA player, Rashad McCants.

“He’s running for President,” Rashad McCants told Scoop B Radio’s Brandon Robinson.

Ironically, Rashad McCants is no stranger to Hollywood. Currently a member of Ice Cube’s Big3 Basketball League, McCants once dated Khloe Kardashian, Kanye West’s sister in law.

McCants once told the Charlotte Observer Newspaper that had he not dated Kardashian, he’d be ‘a $60–70 million player, easily.’

As for LeBron James?

“He’s gonna run against Kanye,” said McCants.

“I mean if I’m LeBron James, I already know that if I beat the Warriors, I can run for President. If he doesn’t beat the Warriors, he’s gotta run and hide for a few years. So this is the pressure he’s under. But I feel that if he can beat the Warriors, he can be President and he won’t have to play basketball ever again. He can just arrest all the Warrior players. I think that’s what he’s going for. He’s going to beat the Warriors and then have them all arrested after he’s President.”
