0Being A Part Of WrestleMania One Day Would Be A Dream Come True, Says Enes Kanter
It’s has been well documented that Knicks center Enes Kanter is a huge wrestling fan. As a member of the Kentucky Wildcats back in 2010, he came out to the legendary theme song of “The Undertaker,” and dawning the black hat that the “Deadman” made famous during Big Blue Madness.
Kanter’s former coach John Calipari after the game shared his thoughts on the introduction “It was funny as hell, and the fans flipped out.”
He added:
“There were people falling from the upper deck to the lower deck when he came out.”
Well a couple of months ago, Kanter had an opportunity to meet “The Undertaker,” and other WWE Superstars such as current Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor, Natalya Neidhart, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke to name a few. Kanter was shocked after meeting “The Deadman” because he was under the impression that the patent eye rolling was fake and just for television.
Recently Kanter shared what it was like to meet “The Deadman” for the first time “It was a great moment for me, it was a dream come true,” Kanter told me.
It has also, been documented sometime after their meeting for the first time at Mason Square Garden, Kanter, and Dana Brooke began dating. The two have been spotted hanging out on several occasions.

Unfortunately, he was able to make WWE’s All-Women’s Pay Per View “Evolution” because he was attending a Bar Mitzah. Kanter did reiterate that he wanted to pursue a career in wrestling after he retires from the NBA. He met former ECW owner Paul Heyman for dinner. Paul let it be known that he would be happy to help Kanter make the transition once he retires.
Kanter would add:
“I would like to be apart of Wrestlemania at some point in the future if my schedule will allow it and it would be amazing, said Kanter.”
