Indie-Psych outfit Jaialai release latest single ‘Hold The Phone’

The Miami based band Jaialai released an upbeat new track ‘Hold The Phone’ last week, the first to be released off their upcoming debut full-length Say so. With trippy and cerebral elements accompanying traditional dream-pop vibes, the catchy tune gives us a taste of their unique sound, hooking the listener immediately. The track plunges you into a Wild Nothing-esque shimmering and string immersive environment, with touches of melancholia that manage to pull you in rather than bring you down. A promising start for the band as they gear up to release their first full length by the beginning of next year.

The LP has been a labor of love over the past year, recorded in Miami’s Little River district and mixed by Jaialai’s own Jose Adames. “Hold the Phone” extrapolates on the band’s elemental shoegaze sound, incorporating electronica and psych-rock/vintage-rock vibes.

Indie-psychedelic outfit Jaialai is comprised of Jose “Jovi” Adames (guitar/keys/vocals), Richard “Ricky” Boullon (drums/percussion), Mario Lemus (bass/vocals) and Oscar Sardiñas (guitar/vocals). With members of the band from Venezuela, El Salvador and Cuban heritage; hints of their respective backgrounds and their kaleidoscopic influences truly shine through in their music.

Stream the track now on all major streaming services including Spotify and Bandcamp, and follow them on their socials to keep up-to-date with what they have in store next.
